Welcome to the Beavercreek Township Park District, Greene County, Ohio web site.
Our mission is to provide the Beavercreek community with quality parks
and to manage the District’s resources wisely.
The Park District encompasses both the unincorporated and incorporated portions of Beavercreek Township, and is a separate governing agency independent of the Township Trustees and the City of Beavercreek. The Park District operates under Ohio Revised Code Section 511 and is managed by a three-person volunteer Board of Commissioners who are appointed by the Greene County Court of Common Pleas. The Park District Board of Commissioners has enjoyed a long and cooperative working relationship with the Beavercreek Township Trustees, the City of Beavercreek, and
Current Commissioners are Robert S. Darden, Ernest S. Muller, and Tabitha Guidone. The Park District office is located at 1891 Dayton-Xenia Road. Monthly public meetings are held on the second Tuesday there. Please view the Calendar of Events page for the latest on scheduled and special meeting times and dates. The Park Board may be contacted via email submission through our contact page. The Park District has 2 part-time employees: a park projects manager and a financial secretary. The project manager oversees all park development projects as well as other duties assigned. The financial secretary keeps accurate financial records and updates the website. Other duties are divided among the board members as prescribed in the by-laws or are paid services by other vendors.
