The Beavercreek Township Park District Board announces a vacancy on its Board of Commissioners and welcomes volunteers from the Township and City to apply for the opening. The Board represents the Park District Mission and Vision and works with public officials, community members and community organizations to provide recreation opportunities for residents of the unincorporated and incorporated areas of Beavercreek Township. The Board is comprised of three volunteer Commissioners whose duties include attendance at monthly Board meetings to administer and oversee park operations, maintenance and financial management. The Board is currently responsible for Victory Park and Angels Pass Park. The applicant selected will be expected to fill the three-year term that began on May 12, 2020, and runs until May 9, 2023. The Beavercreek Township Park District will accept applications from Beavercreek City and Township residents for a Commissioner position for the three year term (May 2019 to May 2022). This is a volunteer position on the Board overseeing management and operations of the Beavercreek Victory and Community Parks. The Board meets monthly on the second Wednesday at 7 pm. Applicants must provide a one page letter describing why they wish to serve on the Board along with a current resume.
